+ WHAT IS MICROBLADING?
Microblading, a semipermanent procedure, is the art of embedding pigment beneath the skin with a specialized and sterile tool to create the illusion of strategically placed hair strokes for fuller and enhanced brows.
+WHAT IS POWDER BROWS?
Powder Brows is also permanent makeup, but it’s a totally different technique from Microblading. The Powder Brow technique punctures the skin with a needle to deposit the color. And the finished look is a ‘powdered brow,’ like you have used a pencil to fill it in, rather than individual hair strokes.
+ HOW DOES MICROBLADING WORK?
A series of strategically placed superficial cuts filled with pigment collectively work to create darker, fuller brows.
+ DOES MICROBLADING HURT?
Discomfort is minimal and a numbing cream is used to insure a painless procedure. Most would compare the degree of discomfort to the feeling felt when threading their brows.
+ HOW LONG DOES MICROBLADING TAKE?
There are several stages which include; numbing, outlining the desired shape, the actual process of Microblading, and the fine tuning of the finished process. This usually takes roughly 2 hours.
+ WHAT HAPPENS AFTER MICROBLADING?
Like any tattoo, swelling and redness is unavoidable. You may experience an intensified vibrancy from the pigment causing a temporary darkness to your brows. As they heal, the swelling will desist, the vibrancy will settle, and the colour will restore to a natural finish. For best results, please follow the detailed aftercare instructions
+ HOW LONG DOES MICROBLADING LAST?
Approximately 18-24 months with proper aftercare and follow up appointment(s). Skin type and lifestyle can effect the longevity of your cosmetic tattoo — we can not guarantee specific results.
+ WHAT THE DIFFERENCE MICROBLADING AND POWDER BROWS?
Microblading uses a hand tool to create realistic looking hair strokes in the browline.
Powdered brows help clients achieve more of a powdered or ombre look instead of individual hair strokes. Powdered brows have a soft makeup look and work great for clients with oily or mature skin.
Guidelines are provided to achieve optimal results, but there are NO GUARANTEES made due to different skin types reacting differently to the procedure and because we have no control over outside factors that contribute to the final product. Please refer to our FAQ page. to ensure you feel this service is right for you.
Healed results vary depending on each client and in some cases a pencil or powder may be required to achieve desired results.
A minimum of 2 appointments are typically required to achieve the most consistent outcome. Additional appointments may be necessary to achieve a desired results and will be charged accordingly.
«Touch Up” appointments must be booked no sooner than 6 weeks and no later than 8 weeks. You must allow your skin to heal before any additional work can be done and we withhold the right to not work on clients who have yet to properly heal.
